Role of Advisory Council:

One goal of the Center is to further advance Cornell’s leadership in this area by aggressive attempts to hire the next generation of mid-career stellar faculty leaders. Having a focal point for these activities would serve both as a stimulus for successful faculty renewal and would help coordinate these efforts. There is an eagerness across Cornell to hire in areas in or interfacing with data science.
